The default theme for the mouse pointer in Linux Mint 21.1 is Bibata Modern Classic and I don’t like it. No problem. It can be easily replaced with another one – System Settings -> Themes … But it seems that changing the mouse pointer doesn’t work for GTK apps (at least for me).
The solution I found is to run
sudo update-alternatives --config x-cursor-theme |
and set a mouse cursor theme.
